Descriptions
German for you B2: Upper Intermediate. This course will help you achieve or extend level B2 in German. It will provide you with vocabulary, structure explanations, examples and exercises. The goal is to understand, speak and write German correctly at an upper-intermediate level and to give your language more variety. We’ll work through a variety of examples to help you understand how certain structures are used in different contexts. All examples, as well as tests, contain B2 vocabulary that is (potentially) new to you. Take notes when necessary. Later in the course there are also lectures on word formation. With quizzes and exercises, you can practice what you’ve learned right away. You can download written assignments in pdf format. They are usually attached to a quiz lesson. Open the section you’re working on in the overview on the right, then click Resources to upload the file. Some topics have tasks with individual solutions and you can share them with me and other students. Each lecture is also accompanied by PDF files with slides for each of them. Using the video player’s transcript button, you can also access a written version of all lesson explanations (make sure the subtitles are set to English or German to access the files respectively). This course will help you improve your German fluency and accuracy, which will definitely help you achieve your goals.
