Steel Structures Design and Construction, Steel structures are used in high-rise buildings, workshops, buildings and others. The best practical design is to be very good to reduce the size of the metal so it requires a reasonable and perfect design. The course introduces the method of calculating the loads of steel buildings and presents all the loads that affect the building such as dead load, live load, wind, earthquake, snow and others. The course will introduce the main keys to the design of steel structures of various members such as tension members, beams, columns, and steel columns. The design will be based on ASD of AISC as well as LRFD with examples. The most important part of the steel frame is the connection design. So this course covers the design of fixed and shear connections. The design of the anchor bolts will be drawn and also applied for example using the above sheet and using the design tools using the software. The concept of design will be presented and will explain the difference between LRFD and ASD, also the design and design will be based on AISC. The entire course is based on an example of a real project. Construction methods will be introduced and the course will introduce types of bolting and welding connections. QC of steel structure welded joints and welds will be drawn
