Explanation
I have taught MATLAB many, many times. I know what works for students and what doesn’t. This course is designed differently than others available online. Other teachers pretend to write code in MATLAB while explaining the topics. I don’t think that’s the best way to learn. In this course, we will have a short lecture with illustrations that cover the concepts. You will also be provided with a downloadable workbook of examples for each chapter that we will work through. This gives you the opportunity to vote while someone is passing you by at the same time.
The only way to learn to code is to write code yourself so I’ve made 13 questions for you to test your knowledge. Don’t worry though, video solutions are provided if you get stuck. Another advantage of this course is the difficulty of the examples and questions. It doesn’t always give one easy step to problems. Many of the problems you will work on will require a combination of topics and steps, allowing you to improve your skills.
What will you learn?
- Create and manipulate vectors and matrices, visualize data using 2-D
- User-defined functions, if-else change case statements
- Do reps and reps
Who is this course for?
- Engineering students who want to learn the basics of MATLAB
- Students who want to develop and apply their MATLAB skills using mathematical and engineering examples
- Professionals looking to add a new skill to their portfolio
