In this series we will make a first person survival game where you try to survive on an island overrun by zombies. You are looking for a vaccine before your infection level reaches 100 and you become one of the undead.
In this 2022 updated version of the course I will use intermediate level coding to give you professional skills in game design. If you’re completely new to Unity, you’ll be happy to know that this old-style beginner’s course is still available in later sections. This means that you can complete the beginner level and then move on to the intermediate level. It’s like buying two courses for the price of one. At the end of this course you will have a complete survival horror game that you can export as a finished product. You will develop the skills, confidence and understanding of how to make your own games in Unity.

Requirements
- It would be good to have a basic understanding of Unity. You don’t need any coding experience as we will cover C# coding in detail
- The game is very detailed and to follow the project you will need a fast computer that meets the following requirements
- A PC or Mac with at least a 2.5GHz processor
- At least 4GB RAM
- At least 10GB of free space on your hard drive
- Video Graphics Card with at least 2GB RAM on it
- My computer specs when creating this tutorial:
- Windows 10, i7 4GHz processor, 32GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce 1070 graphics card with 8GB RAM
- This allows me to get 60 fps in the game, however, even at 30 fps the game runs fine.
