The course is divided into several sections:
- Building the foundation: This section covers all the theory required for this course. The advantages and disadvantages of the HTTP protocol followed by the basics of what the protocol actually is also covers the basics of the IPFS system. Additional topics such as Hash of a file and Merkel DAG architecture are also explained
- Dropbox clone (unbox): In this section, we will create a complete web server that will use IPFS to create a file sharing platform for connected nodes.
- Basic Installation and Setup: This section covers how to install IPFS on your computer followed by some basic commands about IPFS.
- Web Hosting Project: In this section, we will build a simple HTML CSS JavaScript website from scratch and then use the distributed framework provided by IPFS to host the website on the web. The IPNS system for naming projects is also covered
- IPFS-JS: In this section, the basics of Javascript implementation of IPFS will be covered which will enable us to use IPFS in web applications.
