Intensive German course B1 Intermediate. This course is focused on efficiency and effectiveness, so it is intended for people who are serious about systematically learning German, as well as for those who may need it for university or work. This course will help you take a big step forward in mastering the language. If you want to take a test such as Goethe, telc or FIDE, this course covers material before any of the B1 tests. This course is the third in a series of intensive courses. Intensive German courses A1, A2 and B1 complement each other. If you haven’t taken A2 yet, you can find it on my instructor profile. The course contains specialized exercises on specific topics that will help you in a more personalized way by answering questions you may have and providing further explanations of solutions. (There are also standard exercises for topics that require direct repetition of structures.
Grammar and vocabulary are often intertwined, so even if they become theoretical, there will be immediate practical benefit. There are built-in English subtitles for easier understanding. The explanations are compact and precise and supported by numerous examples, which also give you more opportunities to expand your vocabulary and demonstrate how to use vocabulary and grammar in a conversational context. Visual images provide additional memory support. Each German explainer video has a script with German text, so you have both a German and an English version. You can also use the German alphabet to read while listening to lectures. This will further improve your reading and listening skills.

Requirements
- This course requires a completed A2 level in German. For more information on grammar issues, you can view the content list of my A2 Intensive Course. It would be helpful to also cover vocabulary, but this is not strictly necessary as an English translation is always provided.
