This beginner’s course will teach you what mushrooms need and how to grow them successfully on a budget, in small spaces. We will focus on Oyster and nootropic Lion’s Mane mushrooms, using agricultural techniques that can be applied to other wood-loving mushrooms. In this comprehensive course you will learn the complete process of growing and harvesting mushrooms using straw, straw husks, paper pellets and sawdust. We will look at growing edible and nootropic mushrooms at the kitchen table, private cultivation areas, and even visiting a mushroom farm to learn how they have been raised to commercial level production. In this course we will primarily grow ‘Butter Corn’ mushrooms which are similar to live mushrooms and are available to buy online in most countries. I will also show you how to make your own grains using a ‘liquid culture’ or ‘spore syringe’, which are also often available to buy online.
