Explanation
Dr. K’s Complete Semester General Chemistry I Course, The course presented here is the correct General Chemistry I course taught by a university professor in the Department of Chemistry and certified by the American Chemical Society, the professional organization of pharmacists. All the essential topics for the 1st General Chemistry course are covered here in detail. My teaching method for this Udemy course is exactly how I teach in lecture halls. Each topic is explained in detail, terms are defined and then examples are made to show how the theory is applied in practice.
As was the case when I was teaching at university, students will have access to additional resources, all of which will be in the Resource Center. In addition to the 30 hours of lectures, I have included an audio mp3 of each lecture. In all three lectures, I have included a hands-on activity where you can test your understanding of the material. It also includes a detailed answer key for each activity. A total of about 100 examples have been worked in the lectures, and in each section (except section 8), I have included a list of problems that you can download and follow along with. Learning pronouns; ie., systematic naming of elements, ions and chemical compounds, I have included flashcard videos that you can download to drill yourself. I’ve also included a number of mnemonics to help you remember commonly used chemical symbols and important concepts in chemistry. Any graphs, figures or tables presented in the lectures are also available as downloadable files.
