What do I need to get started?
An installed copy of Camtasia Studio. You can take advantage of the free trial from the TechSmith website. This course is best suited for users who have a version of Camtasia 2020, Camtasia 2021, Camtasia 2022, or Camtasia 2023 (or newer). It is possible to use Camtasia 9, but we will be working a lot with behaviors and these were not the same in older iterations of Camtasia like Camtasia 9. Also, we are prepared for *.trec and new *.tscproj formats instead of the old *.camproj files that existed for Camtasia Studio 9.
What level/difficulty level is the course? Do I need previous knowledge of video editing?
I would say this course is at an intermediate/advanced level and aims to make you an expert. If you know a little about video editing, you are more than welcome, but if you are technically savvy, you will have no trouble following along, even if you are a complete beginner. This is a Camtasia masterclass with advanced features and tips. It takes about 2.5 hours to complete
