Angular Router in Detail (Angular 16): In this course, we will learn in detail the benefits of building a frontend UI as a single-page application as opposed to a traditional multi-page application. Single-page applications (or SPAs) have been around for years and they are still more popular than ever as a simplified way to build enterprise frontends or internet product dashboards. SPAs tend to provide a much better user experience to the end user due to their better perceived performance and responsiveness. In this course, we will learn how to use the Angular Router to convert our Angular application into a SPA.
As a starting point, we will take a small Angular application that does not yet have routing. Then we will learn how to configure the Angular Router from scratch. We will assume that we have no prior knowledge of Angular Router as we will explain everything from scratch. We will start by introducing the essential router concepts such as route configuration, paths, router exits and router navigation links. From these essential concepts, a much more advanced routing scenario will be created. We will learn how to create a master-detail and detail-to-detail navigation scenario and use this example to introduce all the advanced routing concepts and powerful features that the Angular Router offers us.
