Explanation
The course covers advanced concepts of application packaging, capacity planning, resource management, security, operators, and specific methods related to application deployment. The workshop presents a demo app, “DockerCoins,” built on the microservices framework. First, we run it on a single node, using Docker Compose. Then, we pretend we need to scale, and use orchestration (SwarmKit or Kubernetes) to deploy and scale the app to a cluster.
