OpenBridge Designer refers to the program, engineering, and design as bridge. By combining the software, Bentley’s Bridge creates a new version of OpenBridge Designer CONNECT Edition. An Internet connection is required to install the product. Setup attempts to automatically detect your computer’s proxy settings in Internet Explorer. If necessary, the installer prompts you to enter a username and password. If you do not have an Internet connection, you can create a deployment image of the product and install it.

Processor: Intel® or AMD® processor, 2.0 GHz or faster. OpenBridge Modeler is not supported on CPUs that do not support SSE2.

Memory: 8GB minimum, 32GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, especially when working with large models.

Hard disk: 20 GB of free disk space (including 12 GB of space for full installation)

Video: Contact your video card manufacturer for the latest information about DirectX drivers. 1GB or more of video RAM is recommended. If you have insufficient video RAM or cannot find a graphics card supported by DirectX, OpenBridge Modeler will attempt to use software emulation. For optimal performance, your graphics display color depth should be set to 24 bit or higher. Some inconsistencies will appear when using the 16-bit color depth setting.
