Descriptions
Python for network engineers: Netmiko, NAPALM, pyntc, Telnet. This course will show you how to start programming Cisco networks in 20 minutes. This course is designed for network engineers. There are too many other Python courses that try to prepare network engineers to be software developers. Instead of learning network automation, you are taught Python theory. This course is different. This course is practical in nature. I won’t talk about programming in abstract terms and make you wait before you can start automating networks. I’ll show you how to quickly and easily get started with network programming using GNS3, Cisco IOS, and Python. You will see a demonstration of the configuration of Cisco routers and switches in GNS3. For example, how to configure multiple VLANs on multiple switches or how to configure OSPF on a router and much more. This course shows practical examples of using Python to programmatically configure Cisco network devices, rather than just talk about it. The days of configuring Cisco networks using only the command line interface (CLI) are coming to an end. You need to add network programming using Python and APIs to your skill set.
