Programming for Kids and Beginners: Learn to Code in Scratch. In this course, we will learn to code, starting with the basic blocks. Seriously! Scratch, the programming language we use (developed by MIT), is so fun that programming will seem like a game. We will learn by doing. The course is designed so that you create the games and applications with your own hands. But what makes this course truly unique is the teaching method that I have been using live for over 4 years. We learn a variety of computer science topics, but we hide the complexity behind characters, animations, analogies and fun! Because in these carefully designed lessons, we train our intuition to understand what we want to achieve and how to get there. This will help you learn the basics quickly. After this course, you will learn text-based programming languages at a breakneck speed and quickly understand any code. The content is designed to be fun! We will learn to create animations and cool effects and create clones of some of the most popular games like Bird Flappy or Pac-Man. The games are hand-picked to optimize learning computer science topics while having fun. Plus, I’ll be updating the course regularly with new content – and challenges!
