Description
Docker for Beginners: A Practical Practice Course (+12 hours). This is a Docker course for beginners. Originally designed as a series of YouTube videos, I later decided to merge them into a full Udemy course, as there is a lot of content added covering both theory and practice of Docker fundamentals. Through this course, you will start from scratch and learn everything you need to know about how to Dockerize your software applications and share them on the Docker Hub cloud. You will learn how to create and deploy multiple integrated Docker containers using different network types. You will learn how to use the Docker CLI and Docker Compose to easily run local and remote Docker images/containers. You will also learn how to extend and reuse public Docker images from Docker Hub and integrate them with your own and deploy system-wide environments in an easy, fast, and automated way. In this course, you will learn in 8 lectures (12 hours or more):
01 – How to install and test Docker on Linux
02 — Build your first image, containerize a sample application and share it on Docker Hub
03 – Containerize and share the entire Spring Boot application on Docker Hub
04 – Run MySQL from within a container with the MySQL CLI and MySQL Workbench
05 Experiment – Binding – Integrate multiple containers using Spring Boot and MySQL
06 – Diving into Network Theory – Bridge Network Drivers
07 – Network Bridge Implemented – Default (with link) x User Defined (no link)
08 – Optimizing Docker Compose, YAML and CLI statements – Final implementation of the project
If you’ve never used Docker before, welcome to this exciting, essential, and very useful technology.
If you are already a Docker user, you will definitely gain a lot from this course which will enhance your previous knowledge about this amazing deployment platform. Docker is a “must know” technology for anyone working or interested in working in the software industry, regardless of their particular interest or position. Let’s start this journey together and adventure into the world of Dockerizing Docker!! Welcome!
