Description
Google Drive is a file storage service launched by Google in 2012. Google Drive allows users to store and synchronize files from their phone, tablet and computer on Google’s servers. Apart from the web version, this product is also available in multiple versions for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows platforms. Google Drive is integrated with other Google products, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, and team members can work on files in groups. When a team member publishes a document to Google Docs, the created file is automatically placed in Google Drive for other team members to view and edit.
Google Drive offers users 15 GB of free storage and 100 GB of 1, 2, 10, 20 and 30 terabytes of money. Uploaded files can be up to 5 terabytes in size. Users can set access rights to files and set the type of connection with other people. In the web version, users can browse files by describing images or using natural language. This product’s website and Android application are intended as part of PC backup and storage. The number of active users of the service reached 800 million in March 2017, and according to 2015 statistics, over a million users have used this plan. In May 2017, over 2 trillion files were uploaded to Google Drive.
