explanation
GOHFER is a flexible, multi-disciplinary simulation software used exclusively for hydraulic gap simulations. This software is used to design, analyze and optimize well completion processes and includes almost all necessary tools. GOHFER stands for Grid Oriented Hydraulic Fracture Extension Replicator and is widely used in 3D simulation of flat geometric gaps. The software is also equipped with a liquid and solid material transfer simulation system that changes the final outcome of the project to some extent. This tool has been used by various companies for about 40 years and has been recognized by experts for its excellent and reliable performance.
The software challenged all existing design paradigms and philosophies and helped design more predictable and optimal projects through new, modern methods. The software’s proprietary formulas have been used on many different types of oil tanks around the world and have proven superior and optimal performance over time. Completing a well is a step-by-step and complex process of equipping the well with the necessary equipment for extraction. This software has a market share of about 58% and shows exceptional performance.

Processor/Memory:
7th generation processor recommended (upgrade recommended if older than 6th generation processor)
At least a quad core processor is recommended. A 6-core processor is considered ideal.
Take advantage of multithreading and enjoy the benefits of multiple processors.
A minimum of 8 MB RAM is recommended for non-geological model projects. Geological Model Project > 16 GB RAM recommended.
Video Card:
Video card with at least 512K memory.
2GB video memory is recommended. The main recommendation is that the card has its own memory rather than primary shared memory.
Engine priority options:
You can set the priority level of the simulation in the engine run options in v9.1+. Recommendations are shown below based on core count.
- Background: Priority: Low priority with ½ core / Recommendation: Recommended settings for dual core
- Foreground: Priority: Medium for all cores Priority/Recommendation: Best for most users
- Maximum Performance: Priority: High priority on all cores / Recommendation: Quad core or higher recommended
For additional performance, consider adding:
Nvidia graphics card with 4GB RAM
32GB RAM
12 core (Intel I9 equivalent or higher) processor
