Description
FLAC3D is a unique program for continuous Lagrangian analysis of various terrestrial phenomena. Although it is a powerful numerical computing product and has many applications in mechanical sciences, its main applications are in the field of civil engineering, mining and geomechanical issues. The program models and evaluates the non-linear behavior of structures and structures built on soil, rock and other similar materials. These environments are actually intertwined elements. The geometry of each component varies considerably and depends on the associated factors and metrics. The user is able to change the geometry used by changing these parameters. The transformations may be linear, but the resulting changes across elements may be nonlinear.
In this case, FLAC3D is able to model and evaluate these linear and nonlinear behaviors well. With this program, underground drilling can be used to analyze the stability of the development path and the strength and durability of the retaining structures. Dynamic and static loads can be studied under dry and saturated environmental conditions. The relationships between soil, rock and other materials can be analyzed against associated structures and many other geotechnical issues.
