Description

The EhLib suite includes components and classes for different versions of the Delphi programming language suite and to improve the user-centric database software capacity for user interaction.

List and functions of the components included in the EhLib Suite:

TDBGridhEh:
Use all TDBGrid features and several newer features to:
Allows you to select records, columns and quadrilateral environments.
Specific headings assigned to several or all columns.
Insert a footer that can display the total field values, the number, and the remainder.
Ability to resize columns to fit table width to user’s table width.
Ability to change height and title

TPrintDBGridEh:
Providing functions and routines for previewing and printing from the TDBGridEh component with additional features such as:
Ability to widen lines vertically so that all text can be printed.
Ability to enlarge the table to fill the entire page.
Preview and print table headings
Preview and print function for headers and footers to use current page display macros, current date, etc.
And…

TDBVertGridEh:
A component for displaying a record of a record in a vertical view.
Selected column to display the field title.
Ability to edit and change cell contents, for example those in DBGridEh.

TDBLookupComboboxEh:
All TDBLookupCombobox functions as well as functions such as:
Possibility of display in flat format
Ability to assign a value like KeyValue only to display text attributes.
Ability to write text property values in a way not already included in the data list (Style = csDropDownEh).
Ability to preserve KeyValue values and texts in a way that does not affect the values.

TDBEditEh:

To display a single-line or multi-line editing environment for changing a data field or for use as a demo only environment.

TDBDateTimeEditEh:
To display the date or time editing environment in a row so that it can edit the date/time field contained in the data, or to use a purely visual environment and not modify the data.

TDBComboBoxEh:
To display an edit box containing one or more rows, with the ability to scroll the list to edit data fields or to view without changing data.

TDBNumberEditEh:
To display a single-line number editing environment for editing a field that contains the numeric content of the data, or to just display and not change data.

TDBSumList:
For counting the sum and quantity of records in TDataSet with the possibility of simultaneous editing. This component takes a list of TDBSum objects containing the type of operation (goSum or goCount) and the field name to display the calculations, and executes the query.

TPreviewBox:
Ability to create a personal preview at runtime.

TPrinterPreview:
Providing storage space to view print data as it is intended to be printed. This component has all the functions and features of a TPrinter object.

TPropStorageEh:
Component that can store or read attribute settings in INI files, the registry, etc.

TMemTableEh:
Used to store data in memory. It can also be viewed as an array of records.
Aside from that:
Supports a specific environment that allows the use of the DBGridEh component, which can display all data without removing the active record.
Can retrieve data from TDataDriverEh object.

TDataDriverEh:

It is responsible for two tasks:
1. Send data to TMemTableEh.
2. Process changed TMemTableEh records (store in other data or use event to process changes)

TDataSetDriverEh:
Contains DataDriver, which is responsible for transferring TMemTableEh records from other datasets. Processing changed records in TMemTableEh and writing them to another database.

TSQLDataDriverEh:
Global interface for data and its interaction with the server using SQL. This component consists of five TSQLCommandEh objects, including: SelectCommand, DeleteCommand, InsertCommand, UpdateCommand, GetrecCommand. Each of these objects contains SQL statements and parameters for executing various SQL statements.

TBDEDataDriverEh:
To use the DataDriver component. This component is responsible for allocating the connection so that the DataDriver can send requests to the server.

TIBXDataDriverEh:
DataDriver component that interacts with the database server through the IBX driver. This component is responsible for allocating the connection so that the DataDriver can send requests to the server.

TDBXDataDriverEh:
DataDriver component that interacts with the database server through a DBX driver. This component is responsible for allocating the connection so that the DataDriver can send requests to the server.

TADODataDriverEh:
DataDriver component that interacts with the database server through the ADO driver. This component is responsible for allocating the connection so that the DataDriver can send requests to the server.
