Description
ODAC is a library of components that allows connecting to Oracle databases in Delphi, C++Builder, Lazarus and Free Pascal on the platforms of Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux and FreeBSD, on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. The library is intended to accelerate developers’ access to Oracle databases. ODAC stands for Oracle Data Access Components and it is a complete and optimal solution with extensive capabilities to connect to Oracle. This product is a good replacement for the BDE or Borland Database Engine databases and the standard dbExpress drivers.

ODAC supports Oracle Server: 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0, and 7.3, including Oracle Express Edition 11g and 10g. ODAC supports both x86 and x64 versions of the following Oracle clients: 12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0, and 7.3. Note that support for x64 versions of the Oracle Client is available in Delphi and C++Builder for 64-bit Windows.
