Description

Deswik Suite is specialized software for the design, modeling and operations management of various mining projects, published by Deswik. The software consists of a total of 35 different modules, each with unique applications and adding specific functions to the core of the software. The four basic software modules are called Deswik.CAD, Deswik.Sched, Deswik.MD and Deswik.OPS respectively, and the other four modules are then given lower priority. This software helps engineers and industrial managers work faster and more professionally. Thanks to this software, the time of design and operation teams is saved and engineers can design more detailed plans and operational plans, study different scenarios and thus save time, financial and human resources.

This software is almost an interdisciplinary tool and has been used by various people such as mining engineers, geologists, surveyors, production and operation supervisors, etc. The modules of this software are classified into 6 titles: design, planning, blasting and drilling, mapping, geology, operations and business process management, and each has its own applications. Although they are separated without software modules, the data flow between them will not stop under any circumstances and the user can also use data from one module simultaneously (in real time) in other modules.

Details of job requirements

Machines with lower specifications may be able to run Deswik.Suite for viewing and editing purposes, but the size of the file/data being loaded will limit the machine to the minimum specifications required.

A note on video cards:
- Nvidia or AMD cards are supported BUT Nvidia cards are preferred and proven to provide better performance with Deswik.Suite.
- Intel integrated graphics cards are supported on a “reasonable efforts” basis and only under the following conditions:
  - I. The card is a generation Intel Skylake card or higher https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Graphics_Technology#Skylake
  - ii. The latest Intel graphics card drivers are installed
  - iii. Customer understands that integrated graphics cards will offer significantly lower performance and may lack certain features compared to a dedicated graphics card.
- All video cards must support OpenGL 4.3 or higher. Video card drivers must be up to date (no more than 12 months old).
- Please note that additional GPU requirements for specific features are listed in the Additional Specific GPU Requirements table.
Lower display resolutions may work, but some controls may not be visible in some configurations.
Deswik tracks the Microsoft Windows lifecycle for supported operating systems.
