Explanation
Python Data Visualization: Dashboards with Plotly & Dash This is a hands-on, project-based course designed to help you master Plotly and Dash, the two most popular Python packages for creating interactive visualizations, dashboards and applications. the web. We’ll start by introducing the core components of a Dash application, a basic overview of the front-end and back-end components, and show how everything comes together to create a simple, interactive web app. There we will explore a variety of Plotting displays including line charts, scatter plots, histograms and maps. We’ll apply basic layout options like charts and axis symbols, add context to our visuals using guides and reference lines, and then bring our data to life with interactive elements like sub-menus, checklists, sliders, history- carriers, and more.
Finally we’ll use Dash to build and customize a custom dashboard, using tools like markup, HTML elements & styles, themes, widgets, tabs, and more. We will also introduce some advanced topics such as data tables, criteria and chained returns, filters, and app deployment options. During the course you will play the role of a Data Analyst at Maveluxe Travel, a leading agency that helps customers find flights and resorts based on travel preferences. Your job? Use Python to create interactive visuals and dashboards to help Maveluxe travel agents better support their customers.
