Description
CrossVcl is a set of tools delphi developers who can use Embarcadero Delphi to build VCL applications for macOS and Linux. CrossVcl is a VCL simulator? CrossVcl is not a simulator, it is a WinAPI implementation for another platform. Cross Vcl only covers the WinAPI UI (except DirectX) that VCL requires. For non-UI software, you should use the cross-platform protocol for RTL and other frameworks. All new Embarcadero Delphi compilers are based on LLVM technology and the next generation compiler. The Nextgen compiler supports the use of AnsiString, ShortString, embedded assembler code, and the ARC model for all objects.
