Building cloud computing solutions at scale. Specialization: As more companies use software that runs in the cloud, there is a growing need to find and hire people with the skills needed to build solutions on a variety of cloud platforms. Employers agree: cloud talent is hard to find. This specialization is designed to fill the cloud talent gap by providing training for anyone interested in developing the job-ready, pragmatic skills needed for careers that leverage cloud-native technologies. In the first course, you’ll learn how to build basic cloud computing infrastructure using DevOps best practices, including websites using serverless technology and virtual machines.
In the second course, you will learn how to use technologies like Flask and Kubernetes to build effective microservices that are continuously deployed on a cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The third course will start by putting together all the cloud concepts introduced in the first two courses to tackle more complex data engineering solutions. And finally, in the fourth course, you will apply the machine learning technique to build a Flask web application that delivers machine learning predictions. Each course ends with a real-world project where you will have the opportunity to develop a cloud-native solution. For each cloud solution you develop, you will also create a demo video and a GitHub code repository that can be presented to employers in your digital portfolio. By the end of this specialization, you will be well equipped to start developing cloud-native data engineering and machine learning solutions.
