Description

Invensys is a multinational company that manufactures various engineering products under titles such as Avantis, Wonderware and Simsys. Invensys SimScience-Escore Brand new Schneider Electric SimScience, developed in collaboration with Schneider Electric, is a suite of fluid flow design and simulation software that performs calculations, analysis, optimization and production planning in chemical units. It consists of three parts: SimSci Design; SimSci Operate, including the design and simulation program; SimSci Optimize, with simulation tools for better training and understanding; the process optimization program; and SimSci Spiral, which includes project management software and production cost estimation. One of the most important software in this series is SimSci PRO/II.

For the design and simulation section, many different software are presented and we present the five main and most used applications;

Update: Invensys has been known as Schneider Electric since early 2015 and its software suite is known as Schneider Electric SimCy.

Update 2: In March 2018, AVEVA Group announced its merger with Schneider Electric Industries and developed its software products under the AVEVA Software Suite.

Main Schneider Electric SimCity suites:

Invensys SimScience-Escore Pro/II or Schneider Electric SimScience Pro/II: Powerful software for designing and simulating chemical processes and performing advanced analysis of processes in oil, gas and chemicals

Invensys Simsis-Escor Implant: Fluid flow simulator with design, rating and analysis of plumbing systems

Invensys Simscience-Escor Hexatran: Advanced heat transfer simulation software – suitable for designing single and network heat exchangers and analyzing their performance

Invensys SimScience-ESCOR Pipephase: Powerful simulation and accurate modeling program for pipeline systems, as well as analysis and calculation of flow and parameters within pipelines

Invensys SimScience-Escore DynaSim or Schneider Electric SimScience DynaSim: A comprehensive OTC software (Operator Training Simulator in short) to dynamically simulate processes along with their analysis and control for improved efficiency and productivity

Required systems

The hardware and software requirements for this suite have not been made public by the manufacturer, but in terms of Windows compatibility these are compatible with different versions.

Installation is included in the PRO/II 10, 10.2, and DYNSIM 5.3.2 Readme file, which is identical to all previous versions.

SimScience Pro/II Software:

Start the software installation and during the installation select FlexNet 11.8 and continue the installation. Copy and paste the FlxNet11.dll file into the following default paths:

32-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\SIMSCISI\MSCIFI50\VC090x32\bin

64-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SIMSCI\SIMSCICFI50\VC090x32\bin

Copy and paste the License.dat file into the following default paths:

32-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin

64-bit Windows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin

Edit system environment variables Run the file and click on Environment Variables. In System Variables, click New and enter the following values:

variable name: IPASSI_LICENSE_FILE

Variable values: C:\Program Files\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin\license.dat

And for 64-bit Windows:

Variable values: C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCIP\ROI94\Bin\license.dat

Other software:

Install the software by running the Setup_DownLoadLy.iR.exe file, and during installation, choose the default FELEXlm 9.5 option and enter the following in the License Server section; Enter your computer’s name instead of Downloadly-iR.

Complete the installation and then copy the contents of the Crack folder to the root of the installation location by default C:\SIMSCI;

Run the Lmtools.exe file and go to the Config Services tab and enter the address of the three required files as follows:

Service Name = SimSci_DownLoadLy.iR

Path to lmgrd = C:\SIMSCI\lmgrd.exe

Path to the license = C:\SIMSCI\License_DownLoadLy.iR.dat

Path to the log = C:\SIMSCI\Log_DownLoadLy.iR.log

Select Use Services and then Start Server on Power Up and click Save Service. Finally, go to the Start/Stop/Reread tab and click Start Server; instead, you can run the Start_DownLoadLy.iR.cmd file each time you run the software, and then run the software.

The username and password to run the DYNSIM software is SimCity ,

AVEVA Process Simulation 2022 Software:

Install the program according to the instruction, connect to the Internet then start the program (Internet access is not needed while working with the program)

Note: Check both “Use services” and “Start server when power is on” before saving the server. You can check the server status by clicking “Query server” in the “Server status” tab.

Earlier versions were installed and activated successfully on Windows 10 64-bit on October 23, 2017.

Version 10.2 has been installed and activated successfully on Windows 10 64-bit on January 17, 2019.

Version 2021 has been installed and activated successfully on Windows 10 64-bit on June 30, 2022.

AVEVA Process Simulation 2022 Version 2023-3-1 was successfully installed and activated on Windows 10(x64).

The version AVEVA PRO/II Simulation 2023 has been installed and activated successfully on Windows 10 64-bit version on May 25, 2023.
