AppSpider Pro performs its search and testing in four steps. In the first step, the program collects all pages, links, paths and parameters to prepare them for translation and analysis. Second, to understand non-searchable parts such as web services and REST API, network traffic capture operations are performed. In the third step, AppSpider translates and interprets all the received information, and in the last step, it performs a penetration test with 45 simulated attack methods to identify vulnerable areas.
