ANSYS Fluent is computational fluid dynamics (CFD) computer-aided engineering software for modeling fluid flow and heat transfer in complex geometries. Fluent allows full grid modification and flow analysis for complex geometries with an unstructured grid. Mesh types produced and accepted by this software group include meshes with triangular and quadrilateral elements (for 2D geometries) and quadrilateral, hexagonal, and pyramid wedges (for 3D geometries).
Innes Fluent also allows the user to refine the grid (such as chopping or meshing the grid to geometry boundaries and locations). This mesh and solution optimization gives the user the ability to improve results in areas with large edges (eg boundary layer, etc.). These capabilities significantly reduce the time required to build a good network compared to a structured networks solution. The software is written in the C programming language and takes full advantage of its flexibility. Fluent enables dynamic memory usage, proper data and information structure, and flexible data processing control.

After installation, copy the license file to the default path C:\Fluent.Inc\license path.

The newly installed license has no time limit.

A version of Windows using a separate license was successfully installed and activated on September 10, 2006 on Windows 10 64-bit; Apparently, new versions of Windows 10 have software performance issues.
