Description
LARS Bridge CONNECT Edition is one of Bentley’s design and engineering software. This software is used to model and analyze the most common types of bridges. With a very easy-to-use graphical interface, bridge and structural engineers can more quickly and efficiently enter and calculate all the bridge data needed for design load analysis. The analytical engine of this software displays different types of analysis of the generated results, including instantaneous and shear coverage of available capacity for live load, actual real load plus impact, dead load and superimposed dead load. Engineers can also obtain multiple tabular, detailed and summary reports from the results.
LARS Bridge is also an AASHTO approved load assessment engine and will allow you to connect directly to the AASHTO BRIDGEWare database. This software has the ability to be directly integrated with routing and licensing software.

THE Prerequisites for Bentley Desktop Applications are automatically downloaded and installed on your workstation while you install ProStructures. Prerequisite content for Bentley desktop applications includes:
Microsoft.NET Framework 4.6.2.
Core of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications.
Localized Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications.
Internet Explorer, version 11.0 minimum, with encryption strength of 128 bits. Microsoft no longer supports versions prior to v11.0. Internet Explorer is not installed as part of the product prerequisites.
Minimal profile
Processor: ntel® or amd® processor 2.0 GHz or higher. OpenBridge Modeler is not supported on a processor that does not support SSE2.
Memory: 8 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, especially when working with larger models.
Hard disk: 20 GB of free disk space (which includes the 12 GB installation footprint for a full installation).
Videos: Check with the graphics card manufacturer for the latest information on DirectX drivers. 1 GB of video RAM or more is recommended. If video RAM is insufficient or no DirectX supported graphics card is detected, OpenBridge Modeler attempts to use software emulation. For optimal performance, the color depth of the graphics display should be set to 24 bits or higher. When using a 16-bit color depth setting, some inconsistencies will be noted.
