OptiNest, the name of the U-shaped design software, is based on powerful algorithms that leverage the capabilities of the CalepiLib library. The program is designed to design comfortable nested forms and optimal use of space. Inputting tools and parts with holes, as well as part frameworks, into the program is possible via DXF files or by designing the software itself. The framework of the part is described by a series of open polygons, bows and lines, in addition to being determined by closed multiple weak points.
