In my professional field, I use ArcGIS for Desktop. Instructions for downloading your free educational license are provided within the course. Check below to see if your computer meets the requirements to run ArcGIS.

If you want to take the course using a Mac, you can, but you’ll need to be comfortable setting up and installing Microsoft Windows on your Mac using virtualization software like VirtualBox (free) BootCamp (free), Parallels, or VMWare. .
