NowSMS is a powerful and versatile solution for delivering content across SMS and MMS platforms. This application is intended for servers, business customers, developers and test services. It supports various SMS and MMS communication protocols. NowSMS supports a wide range of text and video SMS protocols and is capable of simulating SMSC and MMSC connections. Applications can use standards such as HTTP, SMPP, SMTP, and MM7 to communicate with NowSMS, or use ready-made APIs in PHP, Java, or the command line.
NowSMS is a scalable solution applicable to all stages of mobile application development, testing and deployment. To install this program, you need a computer with Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Server 2012/2008/2003. The program also requires communication with an SMSC or SMS server. With this program, you can send text and multimedia messages via GSM modems (GRPS / EDGE / 3G / LTE), and users can receive messages via the web or simple email.

Now to install the SMS and MMS gateway software, you need a computer running Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows 2012 Server, Windows 2008 Server or Windows 2003 Server. Server, workstation, professional and home editions of these operating systems are supported.
Now the SMS and MMS gateway also requires a connection to an SMSC (Short Messaging Service Center) or an SMS service provider to interface with the SMS and MMS networks. An SMSC connection may consist of one or more of the following:
Android phone – Supported versions are 2.3 Gingerbread, 4.0 / 4.1 Ice Cream, 4.2 / 4.3 Jelly Bean, 4.4 KitKat, 5.0 / 5.1 Lollipop. Wi-Fi and mobile network connectivity is required.
GSM modem – A GSM modem or telephone connected to a serial port on a computer (or to a USB port or Bluetooth interface with a suitable modem driver).
SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer Protocol) – A TCP/IP connection over the Internet or private network to a service that supports SMPP v3.3 or v3.4.
UCP/EMI (Universal Computer Protocol / External Machine Interface) – TCP / IP connection over the Internet or private network to a service that supports UCP / EMI protocol v3.5 or later. UCP/EMIs are mainly implemented by CMG SMSC.
CIMD2 (Computer Interface for Message Distribution, version 2) – A TCP/IP connection over the Internet to a service that supports the CIMD2 protocol. CIMD2 implement Nokia SMSC.
http (Hypertext Transport Protocol, e.g. Standard \”Web\” Protocol) – A TCP/IP connection over the Internet or private network that receives SMS messages via an HTTP \”GET\” based protocol.
This SMSC connection is required to use NowSMS. Without an SMSC connection, NowSMS cannot send or receive messages (although very limited functionality is available for specialized lab environments to test the phone).
