SMExport and SMImport are a suite of useful components for converting Delphi VCL controls and C++Builder data to other data formats. You may have used various controls on your application that host data, such as VCL controls like TDataSet / TDBGrid / TStringGrid / TListView, etc… Paradox, DBase tables, or in HTML formats like HTML, text in which data is separated by signs like colons or dashes. You’ll be able to do just that using the components in this set.

One of the features of this product is the ability to convert different types of side-by-side data such as column width, color, font or record and convert as many of these attributes as possible. All components of this suite have the ability to email the result of the work or automatically open the result with the corresponding program after successful data conversion. For example, you can set up the results to be sent to an email after converting that data into a spreadsheet and even open the Excel output in an Excel program.

SMExport and SMImport also include step-by-step wizards that can be shown to end users for more flexibility in choosing the format they want to convert to. These wizards are fully coded and won’t require much changes. Users of your program can get their desired output with a few simple clicks with the help of these wizards. Just like exporting data, you can reverse load data from various formats into VCL controls.
