ODEON 16.08 Integration – Download

explanation

ODEON is professional software for acoustic environment design and simulation released by Odeon A/S. This software allows you to measure various acoustic parameters and create a standard environment for live orchestral performance. The functionality of the software does not end here; with early raw data and sufficient information, you can also investigate the influence of conditions outside the acoustic room and maximize the accuracy of the simulation process. Users and software operators must first design the indoor environment in three dimensions and then decide on materials at different levels. By providing all this information, users can predict the acoustic properties of a space and even hear the sounds produced by the environment in completely real-time and simulated fashion.

The software uses image-based methods and ray tracing algorithms to provide the best results. The user interface and workflow of this software are very simple and smooth, allowing a wide range of users to master various aspects of the tool and software in the quickest possible time. The calculations performed by this software are very fast and accurate and the results can be used in real-world projects. It is possible to present the final results and data to the user in a variety of formats.

Odeon Features

  • Very simple and user-friendly interface
  • Ability to utilize maps and environments designed in SketchUp, Autocad, Rhinoceros, etc.
  • Supports various formats such as dxf, dwg, 3ds, stl, obj, step, stp, iges and igs.
  • We use a simplification algorithm to reduce the number of levels in various 3D models.
  • Ability to use different audio sources depending on the simulation type and application, including point sources, linear or surface sources, and array sources.
  • Ability to use various building materials for surfaces
  • Classification of various materials based on absorption coefficient ranging from 63Hz to 8000Hz
  • Manage various materials in your environment using archiving tools
  • Ability to check transmittance at insulation level
  • It uses hybrid algorithms to speed up the calculation process and achieve accurate and reliable results.
  • Early reflection prediction using image-based methods
  • Provides a comprehensive library of audio files in wav format
  • Use a variety of filters to get the best frequency response.

System Requirements

operating system: ODEON is a 32-bit Windows® application that runs on Windows® 10 (32-bit and 64-bit versions).
Older versions of Windows® are not actively supported, but in principle ODEON works perfectly on Windows® 8 (32-bit version and 64-bit version), Windows® 7 (32-bit version and 64-bit version) and Windows®. Vista (32-bit and 64-bit versions).
Installation on OSX systems is not supported. ODEON can, in principle, be run on OSX using a Windows emulator or installed on a Windows partition. Many users choose this option instead of a PC, but use it at your own risk as it may cause system instability.

lamb: 2GB is recommended.

Free disk space: 20GB minimum, 300GB recommended. ODEON is a fairly lightweight program that consumes little space in temporary (RAM) memory, but requires plenty of space on your hard disk. During calculations, it creates files that are written to the hard disk, freeing up temporary memory (RAM). Both simulation and sonification files can be quite large and the size will vary greatly depending on the space/project type. Therefore, disk space management is up to you.

CPU: At least 1 GHz Intel Pentium® recommended. A multi-core processor (e.g. i7 or Xeon) is recommended for fast parallel computation.

Graphics Card: SVGA graphics display/adapter.

Sound Card: Sound card (for surround speaker playback, the sound card must typically support multiple channels (e.g. 4.1, 5.1, and 7.1 – up to 50.1 supported))

port: This is a USB port for connecting a dongle.
