Description

Veeam One is a powerful software for managing and monitoring virtual machines. With this program you can monitor all types of virtual machines including VMWare or Hyper-V, vSphere. Observe the amount of pressure at their sources. Monitor the performance and health of machines. A good use of this program is to prevent a problem from spreading once it occurs. For example, in a modern datacenter, more than hundreds of virtual machines can be running at the same time. One of the virtual systems might consume too many resources for some reason and affect the other systems without any reason. In this case, if you have a management dashboard and you see the current status of the virtual machines, you can quickly detect the problem and take appropriate action to fix the issue.

The program has a tool called Capacity Planner that enables experts to intelligently and better share and manage resources between systems. In the Settings section of the app you can set up security alerts to be notified in a variety of ways. In the Reports section you can get a complete report on the current state of the system. This section can be set up so that the report is submitted at a specified time. It’s worth considering if you also use Veeam’s backup product. Memory: 8 GB RAM (minimum), 16 GB (recommended). Using faster memory (DDR3) and remote SQL Server improves data processing performance.
Hard disk space: 700 MB for product installation and sufficient disk space for SQL Server and Veeam ONE databases (if installed locally).
