Descriptions
JavaScript Prototyping: The Ultimate Course (2024) I’ve been programming for a long time. At the age of 7, in the early 90s, I got my first computer and within a few days I became an avid gamer. I’ve always surrounded myself with programmers. I remember when I was 10 years old, my cousin managed to hack the bank system. I still remember the days of floppy disks, playing Doom, Duke Nukem and, of course, one of my favorite songs, Red Alert. I have always been involved with computers and this is what makes my teaching style direct, precise and powerful! Prototypes are a fundamental concept in JavaScript. They are used to implement inheritance, object creation, and other important functions. Therefore, it is imperative that you understand prototypes: what they are, why they exist, how to use them, how to create them, and when to use them. Understanding JavaScript is an ongoing process.
To give you an edge, I’ve put together a comprehensive, focused course on JavaScript prototypes that I present to you in a way that will bring you maximum benefit. My course will teach you “why” things work, not just “how” to do things mindlessly. JavaScript was created by a guy named Brendan Eich in the mid-1990s. Eich decided to make JavaScript a prototype-based language because he wanted to create a language that was easy to learn and use. He wanted to create a powerful and flexible language and believed that prototypes were the best way to achieve this. Prototypes are a powerful feature of JavaScript because they allow you to reuse code, create complex object hierarchies, and implement inheritance in a simple and efficient way. However, prototypes can also be confusing and make it difficult to understand how JavaScript works.
