Java Certification Exam Preparation: OCA (1Z0-808) and OCP (1Z0-829). This course is designed to give you the complete theoretical background to become certified in Java. If you are a candidate for the OCA of Foundations exam, you should only watch those lessons that are marked with an (OCA) icon, and if you are aiming for OCP certification, you should watch all the lessons. After completing the course, you should practice and test your knowledge and problem-solving skills through mock exams. My personal recommendation is to use Enthuware, but there are many other resources. I highly recommend that you try out all the examples provided in the course and also play with the code to further explore the possibilities of programming in Java. You can do this on your local machine by downloading JDK 8 (for OCA candidates) or JDK 17 (for OCP candidates) from Oracle or OpenJDK and using your favorite IDE. I recommend IntelliJ, but Eclipse or NetBeans will also do the job. An even faster option is to use online compilers. My favorites are JDoodle and OneCompiler. This is the fastest way to try out small pieces of code.
