ASP.NET Core BasicsMicrosoft continually adds features to the .NET Core platform with each new release. The latest version of the .NET Core platform contains many new changes and improvements. By using MVC, the industry standard for building robust server-side applications, your code becomes much more testable and maintainable. In this ASP.NET Core Fundamentals course, you will learn how to build modern web applications using ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET Core MVC. First, you’ll explore ASP.NET Core application configuration based on middleware and dependency injection. You’ll then dive into creating a few new pages using an MVC template; You’ll create a view, a controller, and connect to the database using a repository and Entity Framework Core. Next, you’ll learn how you can extend a default server-side MVC site using ASP.NET Core Blazor and Ajax in combination with the ASP.NET Core API Controller. Finally, you’ll learn how to test the various components of an ASP.NET Core application using unit tests and then deploy the application to Azure App Service. By the end of this course, you will have created an application and have a clear understanding of the ASP.NET Core MVC framework.
