Mainframe: The Complete COBOL Course from Beginner to Expert If you have prior knowledge of COBOL or are a complete newbie, you are in the right place. Requirements
- You should have a PC with an Internet connection
- If you have a Mainframe ID it will be an advantage. I have provided some free tools but they have certain limitations and you cannot practice all the commands and programs in the free tool
- You should know the basics of TSO/ISPF and JCL. I have provided some basic TSO/ISPF commands and also some JCL commands. If you are not comfortable, you can take my courses on TSO/ISPF and JCL first before taking this course.
- Towards the end of the course, the course also includes COBOL DB2 programs. To program these, you should have a basic understanding of DDL and DML operations in DB2.
- TSO/ISPF and JCL are required as basics. If you are not familiar with these topics, I recommend you to first enroll in my course “Mainframe: The Complete TSO/ISPF Course from Beginner to Expert” and “Mainframe: The Complete JCL Course from Beginner to Expert” and then take this course . .
