Descriptions
The Art of Business Valuation – Complete Course. Knowing what an asset is worth is a prerequisite for smart decision making. As an investor, I always want to know what the intrinsic value is compared to the current share price or the seller’s price (in the case of private equity) and if I have a margin of safety on the price. After this course, you will be able to value companies on your own. You will have a set of methods and know how to apply these methods in the public equity, private equity or venture capital universe. Investing takes practice. In this training, we will practice all the absolute and relative valuation methods with 4 companies, including 2 luxury companies (Richemont & Kering) and 2 technology companies (Apple & Microsoft). We will apply all our learnings to these four companies each time, instead of using dummy companies that do not exist.
The course also covers special valuation situations such as VC investments, IPOs/DPOs, and banks. In these special valuation situations, we will work on companies like Fitbit, GoPro, Etsy for the IPO/DPO part, and Bank of America & Wells Fargo for the bank valuation part. After this course, you will be able to determine the real value of a company compared to the current stock price. If you want to become a completely independent investor with sound valuation methods, this course is for you. Please note that this course is an advanced level course. Investing in stocks and emerging as an entrepreneur can be a life-changing experience. Learn from my 20 years of experience as an investor managing my own mutual fund and move forward quickly with the knowledge I will share with you.
