Description
Robotics Design and Simulation Course Part 1. If you are a robotics engineer, student or even an amateur who wants to have a solid foundation and get into robotics properly, you will like this course. In this course you will learn about positional kinematics, where you will be able to describe the position and orientation of the robot handle or end tool with respect to the robot base and calculate how far each actuator must move to reach its desired position. Orientation required to create the robot’s trajectory. You will learn how to create a kinematic model using MATLAB and validate your result with a SOLIDWORKS robot design. The course starts by covering all the basics you need to understand the course content, then moves on to the first chapter which provides basic descriptions of position and orientation and shows these two descriptions in box descriptions in the next chapter. The last chapter explains forward kinematics and how the robot joints’ motion is connected and the position and orientation of their final action. There the reverse kinematics are explained and how the robot joints are brought into the desired position and orientation.
