Description
ROS Ultimate Guide Course for Custom Robotic Arms and Panda 7 DOF. We will start by creating a custom bot called BAZU. which will be created from scratch, links containing URDF, links will be studied in detail. When the robot arm is created, we will add the controllers (position, force, joint path) from the ros_control package. This will lead us to the DH tables for forward and backward kinematic solutions for our custom robot using Peter Corke’s Robotics Toolbox. Now that we have understood all the basics of a custom robot arm, let’s turn our attention to the very popular commercial Franca Emika Panda 7 DOF robot arm. Our first goal will be to install a custom controller in it as we learned in the previous sections. The only reason for this is to be able to control any existing URDF bot. With the help of the Robotics Toolbox mentioned earlier, forward and backward kinematics will be solved for this robot. Lastly, we will create a lib action interface for the Joint Trajectory for the Panda robot, so we just need to pass the trajectory points and the final effect will move it as we define it.
