AI for good specialization, The The AI for Good specialization shows how AI can be part of the solution in tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges in areas such as public health, climate change and disaster management. In this In the courses you will learn from instructor Robert Monarch, who has more than 20 years of experience developing AI products in industry and at the interface between AI, public health and disaster management. Through The In the courses, you will hear from experts working on AI for Good initiatives aimed at solving social and environmental problems.

By combining human and machine intelligence, real-world data sets, best practices around data protection and ethical considerations, you will develop the knowledge and fundamental skills to approach your own AI for good projects. this Courses were developed in collaboration with researchers at the Microsoft AI for Good Lab, who provided their expertise throughout the program’s development. We also thank Sasha Luccioni, climate lead and researcher at HuggingFace, for her help in designing the high-level program structure, outlining the topics and case studies best suited to these courses, and recruiting many of the experts who appeared in guest speaker videos or provided behind-the-scenes input.
