Macroeconomics: A comprehensive economics course. This macroeconomics course is ideal for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Economics is concerned with the study of human behavior and how we act in an economic environment. But more than that, it also gives us a better understanding of global politics and the tensions between nations today. I teach economics because it fascinates me. Because it is the study of human behavior. Economics is not about data, graphs, and problem sets. It is the study of people and their history and the forces of the society we are born into. It gives us an understanding of ourselves. It is no exaggeration to say that a thorough understanding of economics allows us to better understand the human condition. I truly believe that.

As a former Peace Corps volunteer, graduate of Duke University, and someone who has been fortunate enough to have traveled to over 55 countries around the world, you will see how these experiences shape my teachings of economics. Economics is the study of human behavior; and because of that behavior, economists can build something into data graphs and charts to study them. Never forget that!
