Pentesting 101: The Ultimate Hacking Guide Start to Finish: I’m not the type to keep my company secrets a secret, which kind of defeats the purpose of the word, but I am a big believer in sharing knowledge. That’s why I’ve created a guide that I think comprehensively covers the entire process. Pentesting is an art form and I’d love to teach you how to do it. This course will take you through 10 modules, each with its own goal, with a final assignment that will take you through network pentesting, web, and even API pentesting. I’ve created hands-on labs to walk you through the process so that after completing this course, you’ll be richer in more than just theory. First, let’s start with the obligatory section about who I am. My name is Wesley Thijs and I’ve been a lecturer and public figure for about four years, attracting more than 100,000 students in my time. Recently, however, I wanted to expand my business and added pen testing to our service offering. This means that sometimes we also receive requests for hundreds of hours of testing, which is not possible on our own. I lead a team of several highly qualified cybersecurity professionals that I was able to select over the years of my training. However, my team needed a standard method of testing and standard training, so I created this plan to teach them how to conduct pentests, how to deal with customers, and everything that goes into successfully completing a task from start to finish.
