Gas Turbine Simulation Program – GSP 12.0 – Download

Explanation

Gas Turbine Simulation Program – GSP The GSP Gas Turbine Simulation Program, a component based on environmental modeling, is NLR’s primary tool for analyzing gas turbine engine performance. The flexible object-oriented framework of GSP allows continuous and transient simulation of gas turbine modeling using a user-friendly drag and drop interface with online help running under MS-Windows. Gas turbine configurations are visualized by customizing the engine types in the model window (see Model window). GSP is a general modeling tools that are able to model actually configuration of any gas turbine engine including (external) loads (such as water breakers, pumps, generators, etc.).

GSP is primarily based on 0D-modeling (zero-D) of the gas turbine thermodynamic cycle. This implies that the flow property is repeated over the flow cross-sectional areas of the surface of the component models (inlet and outlet). GSP uses the coefficients of the component model to generate the thermodynamic cycle of the engine of interest. The input to the model configuration is the cycle design, or known reference point (or preferably several points) for the new engine. Information needed for circuit processing, e.g. turbine and compressor maps, are readily available from the manufacturer or on the Internet (eg manufacturer’s fact sheets, ASME documents, etc.).
