Explanation
Mathematics for Engineers: A Capstone Course, Mathematics for Engineers: A Capstone Course provides a capstone project for students graduating with a mathematics major in Engineering. Students will first learn some of the basic concepts of computational fluid dynamics, and then apply these concepts to calculate the flow of fluid around a cylinder. Access to MATLAB online and MATLAB in the classroom is provided to all enrolled students.
Before enrolling, students must have already taken courses in matrix algebra, differential equations, vector calculus and numerical methods, and be able to write programs in MATLAB. The course consists of 22 short video lectures and complete lecture notes. After each lecture, there are problems to be solved, and at the end of the second and third week, there are practical exercises in the MATLAB program.
