Explanation
Math 0-1: Computing Data Science & Machine Learning, Typical scenario: You try to get into machine learning and data science, but there is too much math. Calculus is one of the most important mathematical requirements for machine learning. There is a need to understand probability and statistics, which are fundamental to data science. Diffusion, the learning algorithm behind deep learning and neural networks, is really just a calculator in name. If you want to do machine learning beyond just copying library code from blogs and tutorials, you have to know computing. Typically, calculus is divided into 3 courses, which take about 1.5 years to complete.
Fortunately, I have described this tutorial in the essentials, so that you can learn everything you need to know the amount of hours per year. The course will cover Calculus 1 (controls, degrees, and the most important basic rules), Calculus 2 (interactions), and Calculus 3 (vector calculus). It will even include machine learning that you wouldn’t normally see in a typical college course. We’ll even demonstrate many of the concepts in this course using the Python programming language (don’t worry, you don’t need to know Python for this course). In other words, this course takes only the most effective and impactful topics, giving you skills that are directly applicable to machine learning and data science, so you can start applying today.
What will you learn?
- Limitation, limit the definition of the derivative, derived from first principles
- Classification rules (chain rule, product rule, valuation rule, latent variable)
- Integration, area of a curve, basic theory of calculus
- Vector calculus, partial components, gradient, Jacobian, Hessian, longest ascent
- Adjust (increase or decrease) the function
- Hospital law
- Newton’s method
Who is this course for?
- Anyone who wants to learn math quickly
- Students and professionals interested in machine learning and data science but stuck in math
