Explanation
German for You Intermediate: Business Language & More, We will start with a test that covers all the important topics as well as the vocabulary of the course. You can take the test early to see where you stand, and then again at the end of the course. You’ll be surprised how much you’ve improved! We will look at the way people talk to each other in a formal way, the words that are commonly used as well as roles, expressions and special expressions. You can apply these in different situations, correctly and adequately. Many examples are given in this course, always with English translation, so you can see the most natural way to say something in German.
I have also included grammatical structures that are common and/or used for specific purposes in formal contexts. Depending on your level, it can be a review or at least include familiar parts, or it can be more than you already learned. I have also included lessons with in-depth explanations, examples and exercises on the structure and function of these four grammar points in particular (these lectures are written in German and English). For each lecture, there is a downloadable pdf version of the lecture presentation pages.
