Explanation
Complete Cinema 4D: Vol. 2. All about Modeling! In volume two, you’ll learn everything there is to know about modeling! Polygon modeling is the core of any 3D application. Whatever scene you want to work on, you’ll need to know how to push points, corners and edges to make your vision come true. I am Lionel VICIDOMINI, a Maxon Certified Instructor, Maxon Master Trainer and Motion Designer based in Paris, France. I believe to really learn software you have to learn it in detail. I have created this series of tutorials, to create a 4D cinema manual and to be the best possible when it comes to entertainment. Several workshops at the end of the course will teach you real-life examples and how to design many objects: a cork, a spoon, a coffee cup and holder, a soccer ball and many others. This tutorial was recorded on R23 but you can easily follow older versions of the software, up to R17. It is not necessary to follow the first volume of the series, but it can be very helpful, especially if you are new to 3D.
In this training you will learn:
- How to select, move, scale and rotate polygons accurately, efficiently, and as quickly as possible to allow workflow.
- All about splines, vector shapes that are very useful when you want to create solid objects.
- Producers, such as the mirror, the instrument and the surface of all power, at the core of the polygonal design
- Diagonal commands, such as extrude, bevel tools, but also stich’n’sw and many less familiar tools.
- Deformers, which allow you to reshape things to your needs or even create whole models from simple backgrounds.
- OpenVDB modeling, another way to create complex objects symmetrically without disturbing the polygons
What will you learn?
- All about modeling Cinema 4DSSelecting, moving, scaling, rotating polygons correctly
- Using splines to create a solid design Defining and creating solid objects with elements
- Knowledge of OpenVDB workflows to free yourself from polygons
- Learn to simulate many things in real life using all the knowledge you have just acquired
Who is this course for?
- Artists who want to learn modeling or want to increase their modeling skills
- Designers who want to better understand the technical side of design
- Animators who want to create their own thing instead of downloading the low and wide models from the market
